Professional one to one independent advocacy to support someone with a specific issue or issues

Care Act Advocacy

 

.Statutory advocacy to support those eligible through any stage of a Care Assessment, Support Plan and review, including Safeguarding

IMCA - Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy
Statutory advocacy to support people who lack capacity to be involved in important decisions about their lives, such as where they live or serious medical treatment.  Advocates have specialist knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act
Independent Health Complaints Advocacy.

 

Statutory advocacy that supports people with a complaint about any NHS funded care or treatment they are unhappy with

We are unable to provide legal advice or support with taking legal action in regard to a health complaint.  If you wish for advice regarding legal action visit the Action Against Medical Accidents website https://www.avma.org.uk/ 
IMHA - Independent Mental Health Advocacy

 

Statutory advocacy to support people facing decisions such as their treatments, medication or being detained under the Mental Health Act.  One to One support from an Advocate with specialist knowledge of the Mental Health Act, either in a hospital or community setting
